We believe that one of the main purposes of the church is to equip and develop disciples of Jesus. Jesus has invited us to follow Him. And our hope if to help you take your next step on that journey.
Programs, classes, groups. These are the typical ways that churches help you grow. And we definitely have those! But before we talk about any of that, we want to invite you to something a bit different. We want you to become and everyday disciple. At I-90 we help you do that by engaging in six practices. We call them “Become Practices” and we believe that by doing these things we will keep our hearts and lives focused on Jesus. Here they are:
BLESS one follower of Jesus and someone who does not yet follow Jesus every week.
EAT with someone you would not normally eat with twice a month.
CONFESS to God and others at least once a week.
OPEN your mouth and talk about Jesus with someone every week.
MEET with God every day.
EXAMINE your life every day.
If you spend time at I-90 you will hear more about these. But if you’d like to find out more check out the sermon series we did called Becoming Every Disciples.
Here you’ll find swipe cards for the ongoing ministries in our church. These are just some of the things we do, but they are all important parts of our church.
We believe that discipleship should be intentional. That’s why we have developed our discipleship pathway. We want to help you do two things: connect with a community of people who love Jesus and identify the areas where you need to grow. The life of our church is built around making this happen.
We live in a lonely world. But Jesus invites us to deep, loving community. At I-90 we’ve always aimed to be a church where people can connect and know one another. From our monthly after party (1st Sunday of each month), to small groups, to community events; we are always trying to create place for you to know one another.
